Funchal City Council awarded the 2023\/2024 Eco-Schools Prize to 41 schools, three more than the previous year. The initiative recognises the schools’ commitment to environmental education and sustainability. <\/p>\n\n

In addition to this honour, the municipality was awarded the Eco XXI Green Flag and stood out in environmental projects, winning 15 national awards.<\/p>\n\n
