The Madeira Ethnographic Museum continues its series of culinary workshops, \u2018Flavours at the Museum\u2019, presenting the recipe for Pudim de Veludo at the session on 19 March. The activity, which takes place at 11.30 am, will be led by Sandra Cardoso, who will share the recipe inherited from Basilissa Fernandes, focusing on the preservation of traditional techniques and flavors that span generations. <\/p>\n\n
The workshop is open to people of all ages, with a limited capacity of 50 participants, and registration must be made via the Museum\u2019s usual contact details. This initiative is the result of a partnership with the Atremar a Ilha Association and the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture, with the main aim of promoting the region\u2019s culinary heritage through the sharing of family memories and traditional knowledge. <\/p>\n\n
According to Regional Secretary Eduardo Jesus, projects such as this are of great importance when it comes to preserving Madeira\u2019s intangible heritage and strengthening collective identity.
