The event brings together managers of Biosphere Reserves in Portugal and representatives of the National MaB Committee, highlighting the importance of these areas for nature conservation and sustainable development. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout the festival, a range of activities open to the community and visitors are planned, including exhibitions, workshops, debates, interpretive trails, guided tours, environmental awareness campaigns and cultural events. These initiatives aim to promote the sharing of knowledge and best practices, bringing the public closer to the values of conservation, biodiversity and natural and cultural heritage. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event also serves as an opportunity to reinforce Porto Santo\u2019s identity as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, encouraging sustainable development and cooperation between public and private bodies and the scientific community.
