These measures aim to increase the resilience of ecosystems, reduce the risk of wildfires and promote the sustainable recovery of the region\u2019s mountain ranges. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The strategy also includes the creation of fuel breaks, the protection of catchment areas and the restoration of degraded areas, contributing to soil conservation, water retention, reduced erosion and the enhancement of biodiversity.
