‘Dancing with Difference’ receives Equal Pay Seal 2024
The Associação dos Amigos da Arte Inclusiva – Dançando com a Diferença was recognised with the “Equal Pay Seal” 2024 by the Commission for Equality in Labour and Employment (CITE). This distinction is awarded annually to organisations that stand out for implementing fair and inclusive pay practices.
In Portugal, the gender pay gap still persists, with women being paid an average of 13.2% less than men. The Seal recognises organisations that combat these disparities and promote fairness in the workplace.
This year, the label was awarded to 14,797 companies employing 333,786 workers. The distinction reinforces the Association’s commitment to gender equality and a fair and inclusive working environment.
The award coincides with National Equal Pay Day, celebrated on 14 November.
