Ecos Machico launches ‘Accessibility Guide to Ecosites’

The Ecos Machico project today launched the “Ecosites Accessibility Guide”, with the aim of introducing visitors to the main easily accessible ecosites in the five parishes of the municipality. This guide responds to the demand for short routes, allowing you to explore points of natural and cultural interest, as well as the beaches and the city centre.

This is the fifth visitor guide launched by the project, with two more volumes planned for 2025. The document includes information on the location and curiosities of the ecosystem sites, as well as suggestions for short walking routes. Ecosites are places with outstanding biodiversity, geodiversity and local culture, contributing to territorial sustainability and promoting the diversity of the municipality.
