Sustainable Event Certification

Demonstration and recognition of commitment to sustainability throughout the entire life cycle of an event, from planning to dismantling.

The Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture, through the Regional Directorate for Tourism – Directorate for Tourism Qualification Services, is committed to certifying the Christmas Market as a ‘Sustainable Event’. This event is being monitored by SGS – Portugal.
