41 Funchal schools receive Eco-Schools Award 2023/2024

Funchal City Council awarded the 2023/2024 Eco-Schools Prize to 41 schools, three more than the previous year. The initiative recognises the schools’ commitment to environmental education and sustainability.

In addition to this honour, the municipality was awarded the Eco XXI Green Flag and stood out in environmental projects, winning 15 national awards.
